Distinction Project – Introduction to Programming
Arise has a peaceful and atmospheric design where the player is guiding a bubble of air to the surface. The player must avoid any obstacles which will burst the bubble and end the game. As the bubble rises, it will begin to move faster. To help the player, they can collect power-up which will increase their score, give a short burst of invincibility or slow down their increasing speed.
I built Arise for PC using SwinGame, but with a mobile platform in mind for any further iterations.
