3rd Year Capstone Project – Games and Interactivity
Excavator is a tile-laying, mobile game where the player must construct a labyrinth of paths to explore the ancient catacombs while braving bandits and recovering lost treasures. As the emissary of Sultan Mahmud II, you have been sent into the recently collapsed catacombs of his ancestors to recover the treasures buried within. You must clear away the rubble and search ever-deeper, find as many of the great gems as possible before your funding runs out!
This project was developed in Unity 5 and my position in the project was as Project Manager and Game Designer. It was developed over the course of a year by eight final-year students and was showcased at PAX 2016.
